Schnoogs Café is a family owned and operated labor of love with a simple intent: create a welcoming place where the people of Sonora and passerbys can gather together and share stories while nourishing their bodies with delicious, fresh food and enjoying a cup of organic coffee made just their way.
Schnoogs Station
In 2011, we opened Schnoogs Station, a 450 sq. ft. whole food drive-thru and cozy walk-in cafe in the former lumber town of Standard between Sonora and Twain Harte. The Station offers fresh food and drink designed to accommodate the on-the-go schedules of locals and visitors in need of fast, friendly and reliable service.
Fresh Food Served with a Dash of Kindness
Both our café and station feature artisan baked goods, delectable breakfast and lunch options, organic and fair-trade coffee drinks. We make all of our dressings, soups, sauces, quiches, frittatas, granola bars, baked goods, and breads from scratch. We use fresh, local products whenever possible. We offer hormone-free, range-grown turkey and feature foods designed to satisfy meat eaters and vegans alike. Our gluten free options are numerous and compete equally with, if not better than, any wheat items we offer. We are conscious about our ingredients and believe in the power of real food.

Sally and Michael Arnold opened Schnoogs Cafe in 2004 and Schnoogs Station in 2011 and have been serving organic coffee, delicious wholesome food and, most importantly, building community with three intentions.
- Delighting customers. From regular visitors to seasonal tourists and everything in between, Schnoogs has served thousands of customers who’ve stopped by to enjoy a cup of coffee or savor a bite to eat. Beyond serving customers, Schnoogs has gone out of the way to delight them with unique tastes, fresh ingredients and impeccable, friendly service.
- Building a family. Schnoogs has built a family with many of their customers as well as those who work at the Cafe and Station. Schnoogs believes everyone-from those in the kitchen and behind the bar to those that come in the door for nourishment-are a crucial part of the Schnoogs community.
- Supporting local farmers and companies committed to sustainability. In addition to sourcing local whenever possible and offering only the best organic coffee, Schnoogs has extended their reach to working with local winemakers and cultivating relationships with artists and companies that are committed to creating earth-friendly products.
